Our objectives are to:

  • investigate theoretical implications and viability of the eSMCs concept 
  • test the role of eSMCs for object concepts, action plans, goal-oriented behavior
  • use human data to fuel development of theoretical concepts, models and benchmarks
  • develop a computational model of eSMCs
  • implement the model on different robotic platforms affording different action repertoires
  • perform robot experiments to investigate learning and deployment of eSMCS
  • test predictions on eSMCS with different levels of complexity
